NBA 2K24 Problems & Fixes is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

The NBA 2K24 release date has arrived and we expect Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch owners to run into a variety of problems at launch.

NBA 2K24 unlocks at 12AM Eastern which means those in western time zones can start playing at 9PM tonight.

Every time 2K releases a new version of NBA 2K, we hear about server issues, performance problems, and bugs. Some of these issues are minor annoyances, others are far more frustrating and have the potential to ruin the fun.

While some issues can be fixed in minutes, others can be much harder to solve. Some of NBA 2K24’s problems will probably require a fix from the developer and we expect to see a steady stream of bug fix updates post-launch.

With that in mind, we want to take you through some of the most common NBA 2K24 problems and show you how to fix them so  you can get back to enjoying the game.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Face Scan Problems

Just like the previous versions of the game, NBA 2K24 lets you scan your face into the game so you can play as yourself. People always have trouble getting their face scanned in properly so if you run into this issue yourself, here’s what you need to know.

In order to scan your face into the game, you need to download the MyNBA2K24 app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Once you’ve got the app downloaded you need to make sure your MyPLAYER account is connected to both NBA 2K24 and MyNBA2K24.

If you’re having trouble properly scanning your face into the game, here are a few tips.

When you’re scanning in your face, make sure you’re in good lighting without any shadows. Shadows have a tendency to mess up the scan.

You’ll also want to make sure you hold your device at eye level. If you hold it too high or too low, your scan could get messed up. 2K recommends holding the phone about 18″ from your face.

Once the scan starts, be sure you turn your head slowly to a maximum of 45 degrees while looking forward.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Download Problems

NBA 2K24 requires a massive download and it could take quite a bit of time to complete on your console or PC.

You may see long download times during peak hours, but there are some things you can try if your download is taking abnormally long or if the download gets stuck.

If your NBA 2K24 download gets stuck midway through the process, try pausing it, waiting a few seconds, and starting it up again. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to cancel the download and try again.

If the download speed is really slow, try plugging your ethernet cable directly into your console or PC. This could speed up the download, especially if your system is located far away from your router.

If none of that works, try restarting your router. Unplug your router, wait a minute or two, and plug it back in.

If you’re tired of dealing with slow download speeds, you might want to upgrade your router. If you’re interested, take a look at the TP-Link Archer AC4000 or Netgear’s Nighthawk AX4 RAX40.

For more about the NBA 2K24 download, please take a look at our guide.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Installation Problems

Storage issues are often the root cause of installation problems. If you’re having issues installing NBA 2K24, make sure it’s not related to storage.

If you own an Xbox, go to the My Games & Apps section and check how much storage you’ve got on your internal/external hard drives. Make sure you’ve got enough space for the game.

If you’re playing NBA 2K24 on a PlayStation, head into your console’s Settings and check and see how much free space you have available.

If you’re positive you have enough space, but the game still won’t install properly, try hard resetting your console.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Connection Problems

If you’re unable to connect to the NBA 2K24 servers, check and make sure they aren’t having issues. You’ll want to check 2K’s official social media accounts for announcements and DownDetector for complaints from other 2K players.

There’s also a chance your issues are related to Xbox Live issues, PlayStation Network outages, or other technical issues.

If you’re playing on an Xbox, check the status of Xbox Live right here. If you’re playing on a PlayStation, check the status of PlayStation Network right here.

If all of these are up and running, we recommend resetting your router and trying again.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Freezing Problems

If NBA 2K24 suddenly locks up between events, during a cutscene, or some other part of the game, you’ll want to save (if you can) and quit to the dashboard. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to restart your console or PC.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Performance Problems

If you’re playing NBA 2K24 on a Windows PC and you’re running into performance issues, make sure your computer meets the game’s minimum and/or recommended requirements.

If you don’t meet the minimum requirements, there’s your answer. If you don’t meet the recommended requirements you’ll probably need to tone down your settings.

NBA 2K24 Minimum PC Requirements:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.10 GHz/ AMD FX-4100 @ 3.60 GHz or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 450 1GB/ ATI Radeon HD 7770 1 GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 110 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Directx 9.0x
  • Additional Notes: Dual-analog Gamepad recommended. Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributable 2012. In order to play NBA 2K24 on PC, you need a processor capable of supporting SSE 4.2 and AVX.

NBA 2K24 Recommended PC Requirements:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 @ 3 GHz/ AMD FX-8370 @ 3.4 GHz or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB/ ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 110 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Directx 9.0c
  • Additional Notes: Dual-analog Gamepad recommended. Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication; software installations required (included with the game) include DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributable 2012. In order to play NBA 2K24 on PC, you need a processor capable of supporting SSE 4.2 and AVX.

Make sure you’re utilizing the latest drivers for your graphics card. If you’re using an AMD graphics card, head here to find the latest drivers. If you’re using an NVIDIA card, head here.

If you’re playing NBA 2K24 on a console, and you run into performance issues, we recommend restarting the game and/or console.

How to Fix NBA 2K24 Missing VC

If you’re missing VC (NBA 2K’s in-game currency), note that it sometimes takes a few hours for purchased VC to show up in your account. If you’ve waited and it’s still not there, you’ll need to file a ticket with 2K in order to recover it.

UFC 5 Release Date & Features: 10 Things to Know is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

The UFC 5 release date is confirmed and here’s what you need to know right now about UFC 5 based on traditions, rumors, confirmed information, and what we expect from the annual release.

Its been three years since EA released a new installment in its UFC series, but that will change later this year. The company has confirmed a new entry in the series, dubbed UFC 5, and the game arrives next month.

We don’t have every piece of information about the game just yet, but we’ll learn a lot more about UFC 5 in the coming weeks as the release date gets closer. For now, we can outline the important things potential UFC 5 buyers should know about the game.

With pre-orders live, gamers have a lot of questions about UFC 5 so we’ll outline everything you need to know about the game in this guide.

Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from UFC 5’s features, release date, editions, price, and more.

UFC 5 Trailer

EA’s released the first UFC 5 trailer and you can watch it below.

If you want to sign up to learn more information about UFC 5 straight from the horse’s mouth, you can do so over on EA’s UFC website.

UFC 5 Release Date

As expected, the UFC 5 release date will land in 2023.

EA’s confirmed a release date and the title will arrive on October 27th assuming there aren’t any delays. At this point, we don’t expect any.

The company has also confirmed a closed UFC 5 beta and it will give those selected a chance to play parts of the game before it launches for everyone else.

Play UFC 5 Early

You will be able to play UFC 5 several days before its official street date.

If you have an EA Play subscription, you can play a trial of the full game for 10 hours starting on October 24th.

EA Play is $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year and you save 10% on games and in-game purchases. If you want a little more from your subscription, EA also offers Play Pro which is $14.99 per month or $99.99 for the entire year.

You can also start playing early if you buy the UFC 5 Deluxe edition. We’ll cover that a little later in this guide.

UFC 5 Cover

Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal graced the covers of UFC 4, and one of these men will appear on the UFC 5 cover.

EA’s trailer from Gamescom, which you can see above, confirmed UFC lightweight champion Alexander Volkanovski as a cover athlete, and now the company has revealed the rest of the lineup.

The UFC 5 standard edition will have Alexander Volkanovski and Valentina Shevchenko on the front while the Deluxe edition will feature Israel Adesanya.

UFC 5 Editions

There are two versions of UFC 5: A Standard edition and a Deluxe edition.

Both versions of the game come with a copy of the game (obviously) and pre-order bonuses but the Deluxe edition comes with some extras you should know about. Here’s what you get if you buy the Deluxe edition:

  • 3-days early access
  • Mike Tyson
  • Fedor Emelianenko
  • Muhammad Ali
  • Bruce Lee Bundle
  • 4 Alter Egos (Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko)
  • Origins Bundle (Conor McGregor [2013], Leon Edwards [2015], and 22 Vanity Items)
  • 30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle (4 Vanity Items)
  • Online Career Mode XP Boosts (x5)

For more about UFC 5’s editions, check out our guide.

UFC 5 Pre-Orders

UFC 5 pre-orders are live and you can buy the game right now at Microsoft, Sony, or your favorite retailer.

As expected, EA is throwing in some pre-order bonuses with each version of the game. If you buy the game before October 27th, you’ll get the following:

  • 2 Alter Egos (Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko)
  • 30th-Anniversary Vanity Bundle (4 Vanity Items)
  • Online career mode XP boosts (x5)
  • Muhammad Ali

Again, you’ll get more bonuses if you buy the Deluxe version.

UFC 5 Consoles

UFC 5 will be the first entry of the series to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. While UFC 4 is playable on those consoles, it launched before those consoles arrived on shelves.

EA has a long history of supporting older consoles, but unfortunately UFC 5 drops support for Xbox One and PS4. The UFC series hasn’t launched on Windows PC or Nintendo Switch and UFC 5 won’t land for those platforms either.

UFC 5 Price

UFC 5, like EA’s Madden 24 and EA FC 24, uses tiered pricing.

The Standard edition retails for $69.99 while the Deluxe edition is $99.99. EA Play subscribers can take 10% off and you can save 10% with a PlayStation Plus subscription as well.

UFC 5 Features

UFC 5’s focus on current-generation consoles allowed EA to make some big upgrades to the look and feel of its MMA series. Here’s what we know so far:

Authentic Damage

  • Cuts, bruising, and swelling accumulate based on the damage you inflict–and take–including over 64,000 possible combinations of facial damage that is rendered in more detail than ever before, realistically affecting character attributes.

Doctor’s Checks and Stoppages

  • Authentic damage comes with authentic results. If the player sustains a significant injury—like a broken nose or swollen eye—the ref can now step in, pause the action, and get the ringside doctor to inspect the damage.

New Strikes and Hit Reactions

  • Introducing all-new animations for ground and pound elbows, spinning attacks, and several other punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. Plus, new striking animations emulate heavy hitters, professional kickboxers, and more.

Seamless Submissions

  • A revamped extension of the existing grappling systems brings faster animations and the removal of mini-games. The new submissions offer a smoother, more authentic ground game that is sure to be a grappler’s delight.

Fight Week

  • UFC 5 is truly an extension of the UFC fan experience, and there’s no better example than the all-new Fight Week challenges, features, and content that connect them with blockbuster UFC cards in a way that’s never been done before.

Progression and Rewards

  • Play the game to earn your way through a set of predetermined rewards, including in-game currency, player profile customizations, created fighter Vanity Items, and Alter Egos. In addition, completing Profile Challenges rewards players with XP that levels up their Punch Card’s earning capability.

Online Career Mode

  • Players asked for it; we answered. Online Career includes skill-based matchmaking, division progression, and title chases across four divisions. Players can compete with a different Created Fighter in each division, allowing players to showcase multiple character customizations and Vanity Items.

Frostbite Engine

  • For the first time in franchise history, the Frostbite engine powers EA SPORTS UFC, bringing unrivaled graphics upgrades for console games. From dynamic lighting and overhauled character fidelity to realistic strand hair and cloth animations — Frostbite helps bring the action in the Octagon to life.

Cinematic K.O. Replay

  • Harnessing the power of Frostbite, players can rewatch their finishing blows in stunning visual fidelity. Captured in super slow motion with cinematic camera angles and lighting, the impact of fight-ending shots looks more authentic — and beautiful — than ever, as blood flies and flesh bruises, turning your devastating knockout into a work of art.

Visual Effects

  • It’s all about impact. Improved fidelity means when fighters absorb strikes, the results show on their face and body in an authentic, wince-inducing fashion. Plus, all new fluid physics and particle systems make blood and sweat drip and spray as it does during the heat of the action in the Octagon.

Authentic Finishes

  • From newly added draws in offline and online play to realistic updates to how the ref steps in to save a downed fighter from too much ground-and-pound; the number of ways a fight can end has grown in number and authenticity in UFC 5.

UFC 5 Ratings

We now know quite a bit about UFC 5’s gameplay and game modes, but we probably won’t get fighter ratings until we get closer to the game’s release date.

The roster will, like UFC 4, feature a mix of current fighters in addition to legends. You can also expect the roster to expand over time.

UFC 5: Which Edition Should You Buy? is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you’re thinking about grabbing a copy of UFC 5, you’ll want to make sure you pre-order the edition that best fits your interest level and budget.

UFC 5 is EA’s latest installment in its MMA fighting series and the game is headed to PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on October 27th.

There are currently no plans to release the game for older consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One which is obviously a disappointment. It won’t come to Windows PC or Nintendo Switch in October either.

As expected, there are two versions of the game on sale. There’s the UFC 5 standard edition and there’s the UFC 5 Deluxe edition which has some intriguing extras.

If you’re thinking about pre-ordering a copy of UFC 5, you’ll want to choose wisely. Each edition has its pros and cons and today we want to guide you through those.

We’ll also tell you about the key differences between a physical and digital copy of the game.

UFC 5 Standard Edition

Your first option is the UFC 5 Standard edition. This is the most basic version of the game and it’s also the cheapest format. However, it comes with the least amount of bonus content.

The UFC 5 Standard edition for PS5, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S will run you $69.99 without a deal. We may see retailers offer slight discounts in the run up to the release date, but don’t expect much.

If you decide to pre-order a copy of the Standard edition you get some bonus items with your order. The UFC 5 pre-order bonuses include:

  • 2 Alter Egos (Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko)
  • 30th-Anniversary Vanity Bundle (4 Vanity Items)
  • Online career mode XP boosts (x5)
  • Muhammad Ali

In order to get these bonuses you must order the game by the time the game unlocks on October 27th.

So who should buy the standard UFC 5 edition?

  • Newcomers to the UFC series.
  • People who don’t have a ton of time to play games and aren’t sure how much time they can or want to invest in an MMA simulation.

You can buy the UFC 5 Standard edition at an assortment of retailers.

UFC 5 Deluxe Edition

Your other option is the UFC 5 Deluxe edition which is more expensive, but comes with more items. The Deluxe edition costs $99.99 without a deal or subscription.

This version of the game nets you the pre-order bonuses, an early release date, and some additional content you won’t get if you buy the Standard edition. Here’s the full rundown:

  • 3-days early access
  • Mike Tyson
  • Fedor Emelianenko
  • Muhammad Ali
  • Bruce Lee Bundle
  • 4 Alter Egos (Jon Jones, Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, Valentina Shevchenko)
  • Origins Bundle (Conor McGregor [2013], Leon Edwards [2015], and 22 Vanity Items)
  • 30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle (4 Vanity Items)
  • Online Career Mode XP Boosts (x5)

So who should opt for UFC 5 Deluxe edition?

  • You plan to invest a lot of time in UFC 5.
  • You plan to play the game’s Career mode.

You can buy the UFC 5 Deluxe edition right now at various retailers.

UFC 5: Digital vs. Physical

You’ll also need to decide between a physical or digital version of UFC 5.

If you buy a physical copy of UFC 5, you’ll be able to sell it to a retailer like GameStop for credit toward another game when/if you’re done playing it. You could also sell it on a site like eBay or Craigslist for cash.

Buying a physical copy will also allow you to easily lend the game to a friend, family member, or co-worker if they want to try before buying or if you get sick of playing it.

If you buy a digital copy of UFC 5, you’ll avoid clutter building up around your entertainment center and you’ll also avoid damaging the disc.

If you often misplace games or have kids that like to hide or fling discs around the house, the digital version of the game is your best bet.

Buying the digital version will also allow you to pre-load the game ahead of its release. Pre-loading lets you to start playing as soon as the game unlocks.

If you buy a physical copy, you won’t get your delivery until the morning, afternoon, or night of October 27th.

How to Download NBA 2K24 is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

The NBA 2K24 release date is just hours away and that means console and Windows PC owners should start prepping for the download.

NBA 2K24 is the latest version of 2K’s popular basketball sim and it hits PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 8th.

With the game’s arrival closer than ever, we want to take you through everything you need to know about the NBA 2K24 download and installation.

Our guide covers the NBA 2K24 pre-load and the potential download time for your console and it will help you prepare for the game’s release later this week.

NBA 2K24 Preload

There are some great reasons to think about pre-ordering a copy of NBA 2K24. You get bonuses and, if you buy a digital copy, you can download the game files before it officially unlocks.

NBA 2K24 will unlock at 12AM Eastern on Friday which means those of you in western time zones should be able to start playing the night of September 7th.

How Long Will NBA 2K24 Take to Download?

The NBA 2K24 download is 100GB+ which means you’ll need a ton of free space available on your console or PC.

We may also see the developer release a day one patch which would obviously increase the download size and the time it takes to jump into the game.

If you’re running out of space on your consoles internal storage, use this time to go through the data and delete files and games you no longer need.

If you’re running out of storage space and you don’t want to delete files, you’ll probably want to invest in an external hard drive for your console. Samsung’s T7 Portable SSD is one of our favorites and the WD_BLACK 1TB is worth a look as well.

As for how long the download will take, mileage will of course vary based on connection speed, but a 100+GB download may take over an hour. If you’ve got a slower connection, it could take several hours to complete.

If you’re curious about how long NBA 2K24 might take to download via your connection, you can use this tool to approximate the download time. It’s not an exact science, but it will help you plan ahead and set realistic expectations.

If you’re tired of dealing with slow download speeds, it might be time to upgrade your router. If you’re interested in doing that, take a look at routers like the TP-Link Archer AC4000, Netgear’s Nighthawk AX4 RAX40, or a mesh Wi-Fi solution like eero.

How to Download NBA 2K24 on Xbox

There are several ways to download NBA 2K24 on your Xbox.

The first way is to turn on your Xbox, head to the Store, and search for the game.” You should then see the game’s various editions.

If you haven’t pre-ordered a copy yet, you’ll want to select the NBA 2K24 edition you want to buy and purchase the game to start the download process.

If you want to download the game while you’re out of the house, here’s how to do that.

First, make sure your Xbox has an internet connection. You’ll also need to enable the Always Connected power option in your Xbox settings. Always Connected means your Xbox goes to sleep instead of turning off.

After you’ve done that, follow these instructions:

  • Go to Xbox.com in your web browser.
  • Click on the Sign In link in the top-right corner. For this to work, you must use the same Microsoft Account that’s connected to your Xbox Live gamertag and Xbox.
  • Head to the game’s landing page.
  • Click the “Pre-Order” button.

A lot of people can spend hours upon hours exploring Starfield’s cities, planets, and secrets. Many others can’t. In this guide I’ll outline some tips that could come in handy if you don’t have a ton of free time, but still want to jump into Starfield.

Starfield is a gigantic RPG with 1000+ planets, a ship building system, companions, quests, an outpost builder, a mind-boggling number of objects to scan and pick up, ship combat, and traditional roleplaying elements like skills and traits. It’s enough to make your head spin.

This is especially true if you consider yourself a gamer, but don’t have a ton of time to play due to work, a significant other, children, or something else entirely. You’re not alone.

Like you, I’m only able to put in a few hours of time (if that) each day, but I don’t allow that to ruin my time. You shouldn’t either because you can still play, and enjoy, Starfield on a time crunch.

There’s no wrong way to play Starfield, but there are some ways you can maximize your time when you’re able to pick up a controller, board your ship, and zip around the galaxy.

With that in mind, I want to outline some tips that should come in handy for those that only have a few hours per night, or per week, to play Starfield on Xbox or Windows.

These are the strategies I’ve employed during my time playing the game and my hundreds upon hundreds of hours playing previous Bethesda titles like Fallout 4, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and others.

Turn Automatic Updates On

This is an important often overlooked tip that could save you a ton of time and help you jump right into the game.

Bethesda will push occasional patches for Starfield. In some cases, these updates will be fairly large and they could eat into your play time.

This is precisely why you should flip automatic downloads/updates on on your Xbox or on Steam if you’re playing or planning to play on a Windows PC. This way your game will update automatically and you won’t have to sit around waiting for a multi-gigabyte download to finish up before you can play.

Keep Your Devices Charged

A pretty simple tip, but you’ll want to make sure that your Xbox controller (or whatever device you use) and headset (if you use one) are charged up and that you have extra batteries handy.

Pick A Good Place to Stop

Once it’s time to call it quits, make sure pick a smart place to end your session. Here’s what I mean by that.

Before you quit out of Starfield and turn off your system, I recommend traveling to the nearest town to sell items you don’t need and store the items you want to keep.

This way you won’t have to waste 10-15 minutes selling and storing your items the next time you play. You’ll be prepared to head out into the world, unencumbered.

I also recommend making a note of what it was you were doing the last time you were playing. I usually jot down a quick note in the Notes app on my iPhone.

If you typically put a few days between game sessions it’s easy to lose track of what you were doing the last time you played. A short little note will help jog your memory.

Have A Guide Handy

One of the most enjoyable parts of Starfield is discovering new cities, planets, items, and characters, but it can pay to have a guide handy.

While traditional hard copy guides have fallen by the wayside, there are tons of online guides out there that will give you pertinent information about characters, loot, quests, and more.

Fextralife and the Starfield Wiki are just two of a great many resources at your disposal. They cover everything you need to know about the game and it’s worth bookmarking them.

While using a guide might feel like cheating, these will save you a ton of time. I mostly use guides for crafting/upgrading (finding some materials can be an absolute pain), but there are times when you might call on a guide for a quest or a direction to a specific location.

It’s easy to get distracted in Starfield and it’s definitely part of the fun. However, if you only have 30 minutes or an hour to play the game, and you want to make progress, a guide will help you figure out exactly where you need to go and what you need to when you get there.

Use the In-Game Help Menu

Online guides are useful, but if you don’t have time to fire up the web, or simply don’t want to, try using the in-game help menu that Bethesda provides.

To access the in-game help guide, go to the System menu which is the same menu where you save your game. The Help section runs down many of the game’s components including Companions, Crime, Damage Types, and so much more.

These guides are extremely helpful and you don’t need to go very far to access them.

Save Your Game, A Lot

Starfield’s a beautiful game, but it’s also very dangerous. You might die and if you’re on a challenging difficulty level, you might die a lot.

If you die, you’ll have to revert back to an older save. And if you’re the forgetful type, there’s a chance that save will set you back. There’s an autosave function, but it saves irregularly.

If you don’t save your game a lot, you might be forced to repeat a long stretch of a quest or a dungeon. Repeating these tasks isn’t ideal if you’re on a time crunch.

If this sounds frustrating, you’ll want to save your game and save it often. You might get some grief from friends about save scumming, but that’s a small price to pay.

Play with a Purpose

When I only have an hour or so to play a game like Starfield, I typically pick something specific to do during that hour.

Sometimes, I use it to focus on crafting or building up my settlements. Other times, I might devote the entire hour to questing or simply exploring the world and seeing what I find. I suggest picking out a quest to do ahead of time so that you don’t have to quit in the middle of it.

It doesn’t matter what you do. The important thing is that you decide what you’re going to do with your 20 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour, ahead of time.

You’d be surprised how much you can get done, and how much XP you can earn, in a short amount of time if you have a plan (or even a semblance of one).

Have Fixes at the Ready

Starfield is far less buggy than older Bethesda titles, but it’s not perfect. If you play it enough you’ll eventually run into an issue.

Problems have the potential to slow you down. Maybe it’s a bugged quest. Maybe it’s an NPC or an item that won’t appear. Maybe it’s a performance issue. Whatever the case, it has the potential to suck up your time as you try and fix it.

That’s why I recommend having a list of fixes handy so you’re prepared for whatever the game decides to throw at you.

We have a growing list of fixes for Starfield problems right here, but there are a number of great resources out there.

How to Find Starfield Constellation Edition in Stock is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you want the Starfield Constellation edition, you’ll need to keep an eye on its stock as we push away from the game’s release date.

The Starfield Constellation edition is a $299.99 bundle and it comes with a ton of extras including a Starfield Chronomark Watch & Case.

The Starfield Chronomark watch LPV6 is an item your character gets in the game and Bethesda’s brought it to life in this special bundle.

Unsurprisingly, the bundle is hard to find. We may see retailers to provide additional stock down the road, but there’s no guarantee that happens.

If you don’t want to pay more than $299.99 for the bundle, and you manage to find it in stock, you should purchase the bundle right away.

If you’re interested in buying the Starfield Constellation Edition, you’ll want to keep tabs on its stock in the weeks ahead. In this guide, we’ll help you do that.

How to Find Starfield Constellation Edition in Stock

Your first option is to track the Constellation Edition stock manually. Head to the bundle’s page at a retailer like Best Buy or GameStop and bookmark the page.

Make sure you check for additional stock on a regular basis. You might even want to add a shortcut in your browser for easy access.

You can also use sites like NowInStock or StockInformer to do the heavy lifting for you. NowInStock and StockInformer allow you to easily track the Constellation edition’s stock without having to visit retail websites over and over again.

To do this, head over to StockInformer’s Starfield Constellation Edition page. This page shows the bundle’s stock history at various retailers and it updates every few minutes giving you a look at its current status. You can subscribe to set up alerts for your browser and get notified whenever stock becomes available at a retailer.

If you’d prefer to use NowInStock, head to its Starfield page. Here, you can set up alerts to get email, text or browser notification whenever the bundle is available. Here’s how to do that:

  • Register for a free account at NowInStock.
  • Check your inbox for a verification email and click the correct link to verify.
  • Go back Starfield’s NowInStock page.
  • Click Add/Manage alerts in the right corner of the screen.
  • Add an item to track it.

Once you add the bundle, you’ll see a menu where you can select to get text, email and browser alerts. These are free, unless you get carrier text message charges.

You can also check availability on resale sites like eBay and Craigslist, but you won’t be able to find the bundle for anything close to its retail price right now. We’re seeing listings in the $400 range.

That being said, if you’ve got money to burn and you really want the Constellation edition at your house ASAP, this is a route to consider.

Starfield problems are plaguing gamers on Xbox and Windows. With that in mind, we want to take a look at everything you need to know about the game’s issues, offer places to go for fixes, and show you how to report bugs should you encounter them during your play through.

Bethesda’s space RPG is an ambitious, complex game with tons of moving parts. It features tons of quests, items, characters, towns, enemies, and more.

And while Starfield is more polished than its predecessors (Fallout 4, Skyrim, etc), it’s far from perfect. It has its fair share of problems.

In the hours since its launch, we’ve been hearing about some of the Starfield problems plaguing the game on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PC.

So today we want to take a look at the current state of Starfield problems, a look ahead at official fixes, and some resources that will come in handy should you run into trouble.

Starfield Day One Patch

Bethesda released a day one patch for both Xbox and Windows that fixed performance issues, bugs, and various problems with gameplay. The update brings the game to version 1.7.23.0.

Unfortunately, Bethesda hasn’t officially released the patch notes, but thanks to a leak from the typically reliable Insider-Gaming, we can share the fixes the update brings to the game.

Performance and Stability Fixes

  • Improved stability related to suspending and resuming the game. (Xbox Series X/S)
  • Fixed rare crash that could occur when viewing the credits after completing the game.
  • Fixed crash that could appear when repeatedly loading some saves inside of ships.
  • Various stability and performance improvements.

Visual Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes hair would not appear on characters.
  • Improved distant object appearance when transitioning to the surface of a planet.
  • Addressed an issue that sometimes caused face animations to move abruptly.
  • Fixed an issue where rarely in certain views white flashing boxes could appear in the Handscanner.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause an undesirable texture blend near the coastline.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause textures to degrade unnecessarily. (Xbox Series S)

Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed a rare issue that could cause Companions to float in the air.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause some ship modules to become misaligned.
  • Fixed some issues that would prevent touch-down points from turning red in Ship Builder.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player to appear incorrectly when equipping items.
  • Addressed an issue that could prevent the Isolation skill from behaving as intended.
  • Adjusted the distance the player is able to access and store cargo in their ship.
  • Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause a long delay on the Press any button screen.

Quest Fixes

  • Fixed rare issue that could cause ship patrols not to appear for “First to Fight, First to Die.”
  • Addressed a rare issue where the Contraband scan would not occur potentially preventing landing at New Atlantis.
  • Fixed an unlikely issue that could prevent landing at New Atlantis during “Deep Cover.”
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent Heat Leeches from counting as killed after completing “A Legacy Forged.”
  • Fixed how a location would appear near a hidden Earth landmark.
  • Fixed a rare issue that could potentially trap the player in The Facility.
  • Addressed an infrequent issue where a Spacer Ship didn’t correctly appear for a radiant quest.
  • Fixed an unlikely issue that could appear during “Revelation” depending on how the player interacted with the Emissary.
  • Addressed an issue with the Deimos Slim bottom ship module that is used on the Razorleaf.
  • Fixed rare issue that could prevent companions from accompanying the player after “No Sudden Moves”.
  • Addressed a rare issue that could impact “Power from Beyond.”

Look for Bethesda to release a new Starfield patch in the near future.

Starfield Support

It’s important to remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Problems in massive, open world RPG’s are normal and there’s little chance Starfield will ever be bug free.

The developer plans to support this game for many years. Part of that support comes in the way of mods and DLC (Downloadable Content), but Bethesda will also continuously patch the game to improve its performance and eradicate bugs.

Bethesda hasn’t confirmed the next Starfield update but the hope is that the company will get into the habit of posting upcoming updates on its website and social media accounts. Much like it did for Fallout 4.

You’ll want to bookmark those and check in regularly if you’re experiencing issues or you simply want to stay up-to-date about the status of the game.

Starfield Problems

As we push away from Starfield’s release date, we’ve heard about the problems impacting the game. Some of these issues are extremely minor, others, like crashes, are a pretty big deal.

So far, we’ve heard about issues with textures, language problems, loading screen issues, crashes, problems with mods, issues with saves, sound problems, and more.

We expect complaints about the bugs and other problems to pick up as more people download the game and as Bethesda releases new patches.

Patches are great, but they often introduce unforeseen problems of their own. So before you download a Starfield update, you might want to hunt for feedback about its performance.

How to Report Starfield Problems

You can, and should, report Starfield problems as you see them.

The most logical place is Bethesda’s own Starfield support page. The developer will use the feedback sent in via its website to improve the game and your bug report could help save thousands of players from a potential headache.

You might also choose to report a bug on social media sites like Twitter, the growing Starfield Reddit, Steam forums, or the appropriate Bethesda Discord channel.

Where to Find Help

If you ran into a Starfield problem today, or if you run into one down the road, there are a few resources that you’ll want to keep on your radar.

We’ve released a guide that provides fixes for some of the more basic Starfield issues. We’ll continue to add to the guide as time goes on.

We also recommend hunting around for potential fixes on social media sites like Twitter, the Starfield Reddit, and/or the Steam forums if you’re playing on Windows.

If you run into a Starfield issue on the Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, and it’s not directly related to a quest or an item in the game, you may want to get into contact with Microsoft.

You can also search for more information about Xbox error codes right here.

NBA 2K24: Which Edition to Buy? is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you’re thinking about picking up a copy of NBA 2K24 you’ll want to pick the right edition for your budget and interest level.

NBA 2K24 arrives on September 8th. This is the release date for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch.

As expected, the game comes in many forms, with different cover athletes and different bonuses. Right now there are four NBA 2K24 editions though we could see the company add another down the road.

There’s the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition which is the game’s standard edition and yes, it has the Los Angeles Lakers legend on the cover. Kobe is also on the cover of the NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition.

On the NBA 2K24 WNBA edition cover you’ll find New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu. And on the game’s 25th Anniversary edition, you won’t see a cover athlete. Instead, there’s a bedazzled ring.

If you decide to pre-order NBA 2K24, you’ll want to select the edition that best suits your needs. Each has its pros and cons and today we want to guide you through each one.

We’ll also tell you about the key differences between a physical and digital copy of the game.

NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition

This year’s standard edition is called the Kobe Bryant edition. This is the most basic version of the game and it’s also the cheapest format.

If you’re buying the game for PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, or Nintendo Switch, the NBA 2K24 standard edition retails for $59.99 though you may be able to find a deal ahead of the release date.

If you’re a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S owner, the Kobe Bryant edition is more expensive. It’s $69.99 for these platforms without deal.

If you decide to pre-order a copy of the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition you get some bonus items that might come in handy during your play through. Here are the NBA 2K24 pre-order bonuses:

Virtual Currency

  • 5K Virtual Currency

MyTEAM Content

  • 5K MyTEAM Points
  • 10x Promo Packs (Delivered 1 Per Week)
  • 95 Rated Kobe Bryant Free Agent Card

MyCAREER Content

  • 5x 6 MyCAREER Skill Boost Types
  • 3x 3 Gatorade Boost Types

So who should buy the standard NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition?

  • Newcomers to the NBA 2K series.
  • People who don’t have a ton of time to play games and aren’t sure how much time they can or want to invest in a basketball simulation.

You can buy the NBA 2K24 standard edition at an assortment of retailers right now including Amazon.

NBA 2K24 WNBA Edition

The NBA 2K24 WNBA edition is virtually identical to the Kobe Bryant edition. The differences are that it only comes in physical form (there’s no way to get it digitally), it’s only available in North America, it’s exclusive to GameStop, and it’s only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

So, the only reason to pre-order this copy is if you own a PS5, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S and you really want Sabrina Ionescu on the cover as opposed to Kobe.

NBA 2K24 Black Mamba Edition

The NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition is a bundle and for $99.99 you get the aforementioned pre-order bonuses and some additional extras:

Virtual Currency

  • 100K Virtual Currency

MyTEAM Content

  • 15K MyTEAM Points
  • 2K24 Starting 5 Draft Box (3x Option Packs):
    • Pick 1 Amethyst (includes PG, SG, SF, PF & C)

NBA 2K24: Digital vs. Physical

You’ll also need to decide between a physical or digital version of NBA 2K24.

If you buy the physical version of NBA 2K4, you’ll be able to sell it to a retailer like GameStop for credit toward another game when/if you’re done playing it. You could also sell it on a site like eBay or Craigslist for cash.

Buying a physical copy will also allow you to easily lend the game to a friend, family member, or co-worker if they want to try before buying or if you get sick of playing it.

If you buy the digital version of NBA 2K24, you’ll avoid clutter building up around your entertainment center and you’ll also avoid damaging the disc.

If you often misplace games or have kids who like to hide or fling discs around the house, the digital version of the game is probably the route you’ll want to take.

There’s also added convenience. Instead of digging through a sleeve of games or searching around the house looking for your game disc, you can start up your console and start playing immediately.

And finally, buying the digital version allows you to pre-load the game ahead of its release. Pre-loading lets you to start playing as soon as the game unlocks.

If you buy a physical copy, you won’t get your delivery until the morning, afternoon, or night of September 8th.

Again, the NBA 2K24 WNBA edition is physical only. It doesn’t come in a digital format so keep that in mind if you want to start playing ASAP.
